Yue was born an orphan and accepted into a monestary as a child. He studied under the great Genjyo Sanzo the 31st Sanzo, and cherishes the memories of his dear master. Yue is known as the 32nd Sanzo and holder of the Maten, Seiten, and the Uten sutras. Each holding immense sacred power to defeat those who would challenge the lives of others.

As Yue grew up he was often disrespected by other monks whom considered his attitude and disreguard for station  a sign of pocession.  His master Sanzo was the only to see his potential for knowledge, power, and reserve for the gods. He was a studious boy and seemed to reach the ranks of Sanzo easily by the age of ten. He has been a sanzo for eight years and runs the Shangra-La temple as a kind but moody young man.
