Generally, he was mistrusting, not letting any one in completely. He had no clue who his parents were, being separated or having lost them in the early times of the red ships war. The canine had been lucky to survive the hard times where food was not plenty and strangers were not welcome.
Thinking back it felt like another lifetime and only every now and then that small remaint shimmered through. Several years later events led him to be a lone wolf once more, living in the army.
He surprised both his superiors and himself by doing exceptionally well. Ten years later he found himself being past the peak of leading the King's very own royal guard, not standing out enough for the, at that time, king-in-waiting, picking up his career in the normal ranks, while reschooling to become a lawyer.

Work: Rivy is quite the workaholic, with a deep passion for anything related to the law or politics. The more complicated a matter is, the more he will feel urged to delve into it. Having worked many jobs to be able to get through the university years, he knows he can get devoted to any kind of work, no matter how boring. In his eyes, there’s always a challenge to be found in everything. The work-field is one of the many places where his competitive-personality flares. Running a small law firm to supply legal advice on simple matters, he would be the first to call his work his greatest hobby.

Hobbies: Whereas work always comes first, the wolf does love spending time doing any kind of sport or just simply working out at the gym. Most regularly he can be found playing tennis with one of his old elementary school buddies, easily getting carried away in to three-hour matches. Other than sporting, he has countless of hobbies he’d love to spend more time on, would there be more hours in a day. Reading would be one of those, his favorite author being Robin Hobb, for her extraordinary ability to describe the conflicts that inevitably come with being human, the hopelessness of the unsolvable, as well as the shear normality of it. Other than that, he is a sucker for any form of game, be it board or video, yet another territory where his competitive-mindset shows rather well. And last, but certainly not least, he simply loves spending time at a bar or on the couch at home with friends and a whisky, debating and preferably laughing about life.

Food:  Thanks to modern bio-technology and the likes, he has quite an easy time being a vegetarian as a wolf, not by principle (anymore), but simply because he feels quite healthy and energetic after 11 years of vegetarianism. Other than eating meat, nor fish, he isn’t picky at all when it comes to food, basically eating everything. Among his favorites would be pizza (the real thing, not the pre-made frozen ones) and risotto rice. Cooking is one of the hobbies he hardly ever gets to spend time one, but is something that could certainly be defined as one of his skills.

Drinks: Admittedly, the wolf is an addict for coffee, usually having to restrain himself from drinking more than five cups a day. To still get the daily needed dose of liquid, he usually spends the rest of the day drinking water or tea and perhaps the occasional coke. Alcohol wise he favors a good whisky, preferably the smoky kind, which tastes like the bottle had a still burning cigar in it. His current favorite brand would be highland parks, 12 or 18 years old. Not being in the mood for whisky, or the philosophical state it would put him in, he would enjoy a cold beer, depending on the brand and origin. He won’t say no to a fine wine during dinner.

Music: His musical interests seem to switch often, but generally could be defined as classic-rock and pop, with the occasional liking for classical music when he needs to concentrate strongly. There can be days where he suddenly seems fascinated by trance or even metal, however.

Other interests:  There are many more things that could spark Rivy’s interest. He’s a sucker for technological gadgets, hardly every going anywhere without his ASUS eee pad transformer, loves watching soccer with a beer in the evening and is quite intrigued by how one can build a house, planning on at one point having a house built with many secret passages and rooms, one of the few subjects he doesn’t mind appearing rather childish on.

Sexually: Rivy won’t be found yiffing much, mostly due to being occupied with other things. That doesn’t mean the craving isn’t there though, so that he might certainly enjoy such a way of spending time, just every now and then. He has a dominant nature, but might be persuaded to submit, if approached the right way. He's not much interested in vanilla playing, agreeing with the term 'the kinkier the better'. If it's not on his limit-list, he's into it. Yes, you understood that right, he likes very dirty stuff.

Work: The canine has great respect for anyone who works hard, no matter what the job is, or even for the person that tries, but can’t seem to do the work, or find a job. He disapproves strongly however, of those that are just plain lazy and assume it’s alright that they live on government funding or someone else’s money. Looking at what kind of jobs he himself dislikes, there are of course a lot of fields that wouldn’t have his direct interest, but he would gladly take any of them, were he really in need of a job. There’s just one exception on that, being the dishonest jobs, such as trying to sell unfair insurance policies or products that in some way do not meet the conformity-rule.

Food: Even though being a vegetarian, he wouldn’t describe meat or fish as things he detests, still carrying around a strong instinctive craving for the products. The only thing he strongly disapproves of in his own food would be blanching celery.

Drinks: There are no drinks he really feels like avoiding, aside from sherry and coke-beer.

Music: He does not enjoy listening to rap or too heavy metal.

Other deprecations: Injustice would be the strongest one for him, more specifically when rules are broken. He can live with the fact that his opinion differs from that of a democratic society, finding rules that seem unfair to him just as important as any other rules. Other than that, there are many more things he dislikes, mostly open doors.

Sexually: There aren't many things he dislikes talking in kinks, but there are six things that are absolute limits to him: Underaged characters, vore, blood, mutilation, death and pregnancy 

Looks: The wolf acts not as much cold as simply careless. His deep green eyes sometimes can look right through some one, showing a canine who
has seen a lot in his life and who knows exactly what he wants from it. Where his face had once looked young and smooth, it now showed several small scars
and a streak of white where it should have been grey. The rest of his body showed worse scars, most covered by the clothing he wore. The one of where he took
a bullet in the back still pained him much and could start aching at the most inconvenient moments. Battle had toughened him, but perhaps not in a bad way, after all
many seemed to enjoy the directness and strength he radiated, as well as the sarcasm he could contribute to a conversation.

Clothing: Will usually be seen wearing black belted blue jeans with a well fitting black t-shirt, or during overly warm days in just a pair of shorts. When encountering him at work, he will always be wearing a suit (black or dark blue) with a tie (Dark blue, grey or red, depending on the color of the suit.)
Always wears a pair of black cars jeans boxer-briefs and a watch that looks like a silver bracelet, the time only showing in led light when activated.

Personality: The canine is quite the optimistic wolf, sometimes perhaps a tad too rational for his own good. He hardly ever spends time feeling bad about anything, for the simple motto that in a troubling situation, there are only two ways to walk: The first being a situation where one can make things better by taking action, in which case one should take action instead of sulk. The second being a situation where one cannot better things in any way, in which case it’s pretty useless to sulk about it, better to move on instead. He’s quick in developing deep care for his friends, especially when they seem to need a strong shoulder and likes to live life both calmly and ordinary, as well as to the fullest.

The canine has been around the tavern since the cement of the building just dried, having seen friends come and go more than a few times. He is sure that some of them are still around, even though it's just occasional.In the end, he probably loves all of you!
