History |
Formerly led by Sen'jin on the Broken Isles, Rok'jin joined Thrall and his Horde when he saved them from the Sea Witch and led them to Kalimdor. After the Battle of Mount Hyjal, the trolls settled on the Echo Isles off the coast of Durotar, but Rok'jin remained in Orgrimmar as a scout for Thrall. A fairly good life, when one is a troll with a mission.
He's been biding his time since the founding, and has been watching the Darkspear. Watching over them, in some ways. Comes from being a Shadow Hunter. Too bad he's not exactly likin' what he sees. Especially now, since Thrall has relinquished his hold on the Horde. Some weak-assed, no-knowledged little orc, who pretends to a huge name held up by big-assed biceps? Garrosh is a fool. He'll lead the Horde into a war they can't win. But... at least he's hitting those damned Night Elves. Who gave them the right to say they are the chosen of the gods?
More recently, he's been drug into wandering through the Twisting Nether because of a companion of his. Johnee Blastwrench... Goddamn Goblin Mages and their tinkers... Hmm. Netherstorm's not so bad this time of year, and there's that gateway there that might take me back to where I wanna be. Its in that old run-down tavern... |

Interests |
|
Hunting. Preferably something sentient. Not necesarily to kill it. Just for fun. Course... he might turn them into a toad. Take a chance? He's a fairly adept brewer, mostly of assorted potions, though he's been known to dabble in more... exotic... pursuits from time to time. Quite skilled at creating them without a stitch of magic infusing them, too... There are other things... but maybe most people don't need to know me that much, eh? |

People that handle his axe or sword without asking. Yes, they're nice. Yes, they're strong. And Yes, he'll cut your hand off for touching them. They are his, being blessed by the Voodoo and his Tribe. Course, you disrespect the Voodoo, and he'll make sure you GET the Voodoo. Usually at the point of a Stormbolt or the slash of his axe. |

About |
|
Rok'jin is a Shadow Hunter. Now, mostly, that wouldn't tell many of what he really is. Shadow Hunters deal with the darkest aspects of the Spirit World. Their connections to powerful voodoo spirits give them the ability to curse and heal at a whim. Brave practitioners of rituals and dark rites, shadow hunters tred a very cautious line between darkness and light. The Shadow Hunter's originated with the Zandalari. So they claim. You going to disagree, mon? Of course, if you ask him about his earliest training... It seems that he wasn't always quite so dark, though he's always had a inclination to chase the spirits and hunt in the wild. He did start out as a Healer and Scout for his tribe, afterall. He's almost whipcord thin for his species, though his frame has a fair amount of muscle on it, and unlike a majority of the rest of the males of his species... he does not walk in a slouch. Too hard to see over things when you walk like that... and really, who's going to argue with a seven and a half foot troll? He's fairly charismatic, for a troll, though its fairly easy to notice the fine pattern webwork of scars across his arms and his chest (If you could get his leathers off...). The loadout of spells that he typically carries is a bit heavier on the damage or curses than a typical divine spellcaster... but then again, he's known well enough for changing to suit what's ahead, or relying completely on the Voodoo for healing. |
