Crystal is a Ice mage still in the long trainning it would take to fully master her element but she is extremely skilled as she has had time to learn and master a vast amount of spells and has natrual talent with magic itself. (she is not limited to ice magic only)

She always carrys around the rather large magic tome and while it would normally have quite a heft to it its unique powers make it have almost no weight. (she doesnt need to carry the tome as she can make it follow her or shrink it down)
