Originally he is a human. But since one of the Lugias had protected him fromd eath, he joined in them, by leaving hsi home and moving to them. He works for them and lives there. The Lugia's made him a suit, witch let him look liek that now. It even hides injuries. Now, he feels like an important one, in the middle of the Lugia's.
