The skinning system has been rewritten, users may now set their default site theme in their profile or with the Skin box on the right column. Unregistered users can keep the same skin as long as they have cookies enabled. Here are some new flavours to choose from: Due to changes in the layout code some users may encounter glitches in the site's appearance. This can almost always be solved by clearing one's cache and refreshing.

Hey folks, sorry for the long delay in updates. We'll start with the good news:

YiffyWiki: our new site documentation repository. YiffyWiki is editable by any registered user. Our old help system was outdated, lacking in depth and very time consuming for only yours truly to maintain. It is my hope that this will provide a venue for collaborative improvement of the documentation, where users help users take advantage of all the site's features.

The bad news is, as always, about funding. The new colo people have not only surprised me with a "last month's deposit" but on Friday I was informed that there was a miscommunication and the payment schedule was such that each month is to be paid for in advance, not invoiced after. I've already put down $788, which covers the half-month of June and half of the last month's deposit, but this only leaves me facing a $1313 bill by August 15th. Regular payments of $525 will only commence in September. After shelling out almost 2 grand to get our servers back in June I'm standing knee deep in shit and eye deep in debt - PLEASE donate to the Bad Karma Networks Foundation, because when I go bankrupt the sites come with me!

I have been very reluctant to make an official update on our, really my, situation regarding the recent outage. Many of you are aware that I tend to let ire get the best of me, and while I love nothing more than shelling out a piece of my mind; I feel this is detrimental to the legal process, which places significant emphasis on good faith.

The following is a statement that I made in Ychat today which summarizes the current state of affairs, which are mostly positive. However, more information regarding the recent skirmish and future plans will only become available as progress is made.
