Thanks to your generosity we were able to secure alternate hosting early. On behalf of the community we thank everyone who showed their support, we would not have been able to conduct such a remarkably smooth transition without it. That being said, the transition is not completely over. The most painful part will begin tonight/tomorrow morning when the three critical virtual machines behind YI and the Ychans are powered down and migrated. At that time the sites will be rendered totally inaccessible for up to two hours. Once the sites go live again please allow up to another two hours before you begin posting; due to the nature of DNS caching you may still be connecting to our "old" version of the web server and your submissions may disappear. Unfortunately, it will not become clear whether a Content Delivery Network will need to be built immediately until the migration has completed and we know what kind of demand our sites will put on the new hardware. If it is unable to sustain all of our services with reasonable responsiveness first Ychan Deluxe will be disabled and redirected to Turbo and, as a last resort, Ychan itself may be temporarily suspended.
