With the recent migration of our virtual machines from a collocated, wholly-owned platform to rented servers the cost of running this family of sites has gone from $575 to just under $400/month - that is about 4 times as much savings as revenue we are currently drawing from ads. The online advertising marketplace is heavily prejudiced against adult sites and we are tired of bending over backwards for peanuts while our pages load slower and look tackier than they need to.
